Scholarship Programme

The NI Engineering Scholarship Programme is available to students studying an Engineering or Physics Degree. This programme allows students who have shown outstanding academic achievement to develop their professional engineering career.
In order to be eligible for the NI Engineering Scholarship Programme you must be in their first year of study.
Successful candidates may be offered a full-time role in our Engineering Leadership Programme after graduation.
Scholarship Programme Details
- Undergraduate students should apply during year 1 at the university
- Students should always be on track to achieve a 2.1 or higher in their studies
- Scholarships will be offered for year 2 and based on academic achievement at the university
- The scholarship amount will be £1500 per year
- Successful applicants will join NI for a 1 year paid industrial placement (internship)
- Continuation of the Scholarships will be offered to top candidates at the end of internship for year 4 (£1500 per year)
- Conditional offer of permanent employment will be available to students who have performed exceptionally well during their internship
Application Process
There is a three stage application process. The deadline for application forms is Friday 30th April.
Step 1: Download the application form, fill in and send to ukrecruitment@ni.com
Step 2: Interviews will be held at universities during May
Step 3: Interview Day at National Instruments UK Headquarters
