Engineering
Engineering with Nestlé means working with some of the most advanced processing technologies available - and applying your expertise to give us the competitive edge. We take high calibre graduates and develop them for future leadership roles.
If you are studying or have studied for an electrical engineering degree, join us and for your first two years you’ll work at factories across the UK. You’ll apply your skills within teams responsible for a variety of areas: such as asset maintenance and reliability, or the optimisation of infrastructure and services. Or you’ll work in multi-disciplinary project teams commissioning new plants or technologies.
As an Electrical, Automation & Control Engineer you’ll quickly discover how important process control is to our manufacturing operations - from designing the electrical supply network through to automating high speed lines, controlling robots and even developing information systems.
Your placements will bring you face-to-face with a results-focused culture in which creativity, initiative and the dedication to succeed are highly valued. We’ll encourage you to develop your skills and career through different engineering positions within our factories - opening up possibilities for you to become an Engineering Manager or even to branch out into a broader production & technical role.
You must have or currently be studying for an engineering-based degree. We’ll also expect you to have the motivation to drive continuous improvement within our factories, along with strong people and communication skills. If you have an enthusiastic, can-do approach, a professional attitude and are willing to work in different locations - possibly even abroad - then we can give you the work and training you need to become a highly respected chartered engineer.
