Npower has now closed applications to their Graduate Schemes.
Louis and Kerry from the npower Graduate Team would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has come along to our presentations, visited our stands at careers fairs, checked out our websites, entered one of our innovative competitions or applied to one of our six graduate schemes. And, if you have exams coming up, we'd like to wish you loads of luck!
For those of you who were successful at assessment centre we look forward to getting to know you better over the next few months and for all who attended one of our centres we hope that you have found it a positive experience and taken advantage of the feedback that we offer.
Over the coming few months we will continue with our campus activity, however, if you are leaving university and taking time out, applications for our graduate programmes open in September and we would welcome your applications for the 2011 or 2012 intake.
Graduate Programme
The Graduate Programme at npower is split between 6 schemes, which cover most major areas within the business. We are recruiting 30-40 graduates for the 2010 intake, in the areas of Engineering, Business Analysis, General Business Management, Quantitative Risk, Finance, and Information Systems.
If you join our Graduate Scheme, you can expect to start on £25,000. We welcome applicants from non - EEA nationals. All our graduates must be flexible - npower have 60 sites across the UK and your first placement could be in any one of these. At the end of your scheme, you could have worked in 4 different offices, UK wide.
Entry requirements for our graduate schemes include:
Engineering
- 2 years (Four 6 month placements)
- 2:2 engineering or science
Information Systems

- 2 years (4, 6 month placements)
- 2:1 any subject
