Think Subsea, Think Technip
Technip’s very successful two year Graduate Development Programme provides dynamic Graduates with a fantastic opportunity to ‘get stuck in’. Based at our UK headquarters in Westhill, near Aberdeen, successful candidates will be able to get involved in real projects, showcase their talent and start working towards reaching their potential.
During their two years on the programme, Graduates will be exposed to a variety of departments and will become a key part of the team with an important part to play in the delivery of a wide range of projects across the UK business.
Graduate opportunities exist within the following areas of the business:
UK Business Unit (Engineering and Commercial Opportunities for Graduates)
The UK Business Unit is responsible for the winning and successful delivery of subsea projects in the UK, Dutch, Danish and Irish sectors. The unit’s activities support the development of subsea oil and gas fields and typically involve installation of pipelines and other subsea equipment.
Offshore Engineering Division (Engineering Opportunities)
The Offshore Engineering Division (OED) is a specialist engineering unit that provides advanced engineering and research & development support to Technip’s global subsea business units. Its areas of focus are; survey, rigid pipe, geotechnics, structures and welding & materials.
Offshore Operations Services (Engineering and permanent offshore opportunities)
Offshore Operations Service (OOS) is responsible for the management and maintenance of Technip’s subsea assets, which include its state-ofthe- art fleet of pipelay, construction & diving support vessels, portable pipelay systems, trenching spreads and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

Learning and Development
Technip’s Graduate Development Programme offers a comprehensive range of training and is accredited by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). Graduates receive feedback on progress and there are regular salary reviews to reflect increasing knowledge, skills and professionalism. Graduates are supported to become Chartered Engineers with a mentor and other resources assigned to them.
