Engineering Placements
AgustaWestland recruits several Engineering Undergraduates annually into our 12-month industrial placement programmes. In particular, we look for talented Engineering undergraduates with an aptitude for Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Avionic Engineering, or Composite Engineering.
During your 12 months with us, you will spend time working in four different Engineering Placements gaining first-hand experience in the areas of engineering that you'd like to experience.
You will agree a structured placement plan with your Training Officer, which will allow you to work within departments that will support your academic study if required. You will be supported by experienced engineers yet given enough autonomy and responsibility to really make a difference in each department.
Departments could fall into the following engineering areas:

- Avionics
- Electrical Design
- Simulation and Technology
- Vehicle Systems
- Aerodynamics
- Structural Engineering
- Material Testing
- Rotor Systems
- Rotor Blade Design
- Math Modelling
- Flight Test Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering - Production
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £16,993
