Description:

Customer requirements for new optional hardware
Generalist interest in engines and engine ancillaries
Feasibility studies
Design input
Procurement of parts & prototype builds
Special projects & general enquiries resolution
Option release & structuring
Creation of new option build instructions
Application support issue resolution
Design Review participation

Training Provided:

Engine appreciation course
Presentation and Communication techniques
Tools and skills - training or appreciation given as required
Guidance by a qualified mentor under the I MechE MPDS Scheme for the duration of the placement

Skills & Experience Required:

Preferred Discipline: Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering
PC literacy
Teamwork/Communication/Working with cross functional groups
Practical approach to support technical evaluation
Ability to manage own projects
Understanding of engine components preferable
