Description:
- Customer requirements for new optional hardware
- Generalist interest in engines and engine ancillaries
- Feasibility studies
- Design input
- Procurement of parts & prototype builds
- Special projects & general enquiries resolution
- Option release & structuring
- Creation of new option build instructions
- Application support issue resolution
- Design Review participation
Training Provided:
- Engine appreciation course
- Presentation and Communication techniques
- Tools and skills - training or appreciation given as required
- Guidance by a qualified mentor under the I MechE MPDS Scheme for the duration of the placement
Skills & Experience Required:
- Preferred Discipline: Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering
- PC literacy
- Teamwork/Communication/Working with cross functional groups
- Practical approach to support technical evaluation
- Ability to manage own projects
- Understanding of engine components preferable
