As well as the opportunity to meet women with diverse and interesting careers that have taken them from oil rigs to research centres, it will be a very interactive event with a chance to put your ideas and talents into action.

A paid 6-8 week summer internship at Stonehouse Technology Centre will be awarded to the most promising student.
Travel will be reimbursed and accommodation and food provided.
Applicants are welcome from 1st and 2nd year female students on track for a high 2:1 or 1st class degree from the following disciplines: Mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics, computer science, aerospace engineering, general engineering, engineering design, maths and physics. Up to 15 students will be selected to attend.

It is suitable for those looking for a full-time graduate position or a postgraduate course starting summer or autumn 2013.
Although organised by the Careers Service at The University of Manchester, the fair is open to students and graduates from any institution.
