Is it free to register on Gradcracker?
Yes, registering with Gradcracker is completely free.
Are you going to send me loads of emails every week?
No, we don’t want to send you loads of irrelevant emails. We send one email out every Thursday to all registered students highlighting new opportunities on the site and impending deadlines.
Are you a recruitment agency?
No, we are not a recruitment agency and do not charge employers when they recruit a student through Gradcracker. You have to use the site and apply to the companies that you are interested in yourself.
If I upload my CV do I still need to apply for jobs?
Definitely, it is good to upload your CV as this means that employers searching through the database can read it but you should not sit back and wait for employers to contact you.
Do all companies run assessment centres?
Each company has their own different application process; some may run assessment centres, some may not. You should look at each company microsite to find out more details about the application process.
How can I make employers aware that I am available for a work placement?
Employers can search on Gradcracker by university and/or degree course for students who are keen to do work placements. Click here to get yourself listed.
