Our two-year Energy Graduate Training Scheme will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of the Energy divisions and sectors in which Lloyd’s Register operates.
The first year of the programme is designed to give you as much exposure to our Energy business as possible, whilst also making sure you are receiving the training you need to develop and become a successful engineer. During this time you will learn how our design appraisal, surveying and inspection, and consultancy functions operate in a range of Energy sectors.
After your first year of training and experience across our offices in the UK you will start to focus your training in an area within which a role has been identified for you.
Underlying your placements will be a strong emphasis on training. We will provide you with soft skills training designed to complement the scheme, as well as technical courses delivered either by external industry experts or by some of our own technical staff.
During the two year scheme you will be constantly working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer. To support you with this goal you will be allocated a mentor who has already become Chartered. They will be on hand throughout the programme to give you advice and support to help you with the application process for CEng status.
