During your career with us, we will support you to realise your potential across a wide range of projects and sectors as well as encouraging you to take up a global opportunity.
At BuroHappold we invest heavily in learning and development. With proven in-house training we utilise a blended learning approach including workshops and classroom and web based courses to help fast track your career. Achieving Chartered Engineer status can make a big difference when it comes to developing your career and we are committed to supporting all our people to become professionally accredited with an appropriate institution of their choice. We will pay for your membership to two accredited institutions, provide you with comprehensive support materials through our internal intranet and have an in house training scheme accredited with the ICE.
Our Young Engineers Forums (YEF) exist to support all new graduates that join the practice and are run by graduates, for graduates. As well as introducing a number of professional development opportunities through talks, competitions and site visits the YEF also enables new graduates to get to know each other through regular social events. The forum actively engage with outreach programmes and have in recent years run school work experience weeks in our larger offices.
Another great way to get to know your fellow graduates is during BuroHappold’s Grad Week. This is a week long event that occurs once a year and is a chance for all of the new graduates from across the world to come together. Locations and activities vary annually but usually involve project work, site visits, presentations and nights out! Grad Week provides a great opportunity to meet graduates from across the world that have joined at a similar time to you, share working practices and network senior members of staff.
