Look inside – you’re what’s next.
Are you interested in technology that pushes the boundaries of innovation? Do you work best in a collaborative environment where one idea sparks a chain reaction of others? If yes, and you’re also an engineering or science graduate, you should join us as a Process Technician and see how Intel treats your talents.
Intel is committed to creating and extending computing technology to connect and enrich the lives of every person on Earth. Our Fab 24 facility in Leixlip, Ireland, is home to semi-conductor wafer fabrication, Silicon Nanoelectronics Research and Product Development. It’s one of the most technologically advanced, high volume manufacturing plants in the world and, if you have a passion for industry leading innovation, it’s where you’d fit right in.
Primarily working in wafer production, you’ll be an integral member of our experienced teams. You’ll be involved in preventative maintenance on advanced semiconductor equipment, and in troubleshooting and resolving unscheduled equipment issues. Assessing statistical process control techniques in order to monitor, maintain and improve performance will also form part of your role.
It’s essential that you have a 2013/2014 qualification at, or equivalent to, Level 4/5 in the QCF in an approved engineering or science discipline – a selection of relevant courses is listed here but others may apply too.
You’ll also need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, plus a self-motivated attitude to complement your teamwork abilities. A flexible attitude to shift work or to travel on assignment for extended periods will also go a long way.
In our collaborative, supportive environment, your equally brilliant colleagues will push you to be your best. Your work will be generously rewarded with a competitive pay and benefits package, plus opportunities for professional development, travel and continuing education. You can also look forward to our onsite, state-of-the-art facilities and fitness centres. As well as Gaelic Football and Hurling teams, we have billiards, gaming consoles, table tennis, and health care facilities. Not to mention specialised coffee bars, sleeping pods, massage chairs, banking services and more.
