2014 Industrial Placements - Space and Defence

Our Space, Defence & National Security (SDNS) unit is looking to hire 5 industrial placement students based in Leatherhead (Surrey) or Reading, specifically working in the Space and Defence areas.

The SDNS business unit provides a service for clients in the Space, Defence and National Security markets. It focuses on providing software development, technical research and testing services, as well as holding various qualified individuals such as Penetration Testers. These skills, expertise and experience that are high value-add, give you exposure to some of the most cutting-edge technology and are client facing.

SDNS is looking for exceptional placement students from technical backgrounds (IT/computing) or from wider STEM backgrounds who have had exposure to programming, development or testing.

In addition, exposure to the development life cycle, Databases, Mobile application development, Java and testing would all strengthen your application.

All these roles require higher level Government security clearance. In order to gain this you will need to meet the Government guidelines including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and having an unrestricted right to live and work in the UK. We will be unable to progress those candidates who do not meet this criteria.
