The Physics Society is an education based society for anyone interested in science, focusing primarily on physics. We cater to both physics students and those who don't study it, but are keen to learn more.
We host talks every week, ranging across all topics and levels of difficulty for you to attend, as well as hands on sessions. We're open to suggestions from our members too, so if you want to see a talk on a particular topic, just email us and let us know!
Join us every week for our vast array of socials, from pub crawls to movie nights, where you can meet likeminded people and just relax. We will be posting details of our socials on both our Facebook page and website, so make sure you keep an eye out there for what we’re up to.
Our Women in Physics subsection is open to all of our members (not just women). We host talks tailored towards overcoming the issues women face in STEM industries, whilst giving our members the tools and expertise to take on the science world and pursue postgraduate studies.
