From STEM graduate to Engineer Officer…

The RAF’s primary role is to defend UK airspace, but equally important is the work it does in communities across Britain and beyond: supporting peacekeeping and reconstruction initiatives, providing humanitarian aid, and even airlifting people to safety.

To continue to do this, the RAF needs skilled STEM graduates to join them as Engineer Officers in a variety of specialist areas. We’re going to be asking Sergeant Ian Raikes – from the Engineering Recruitment team – about what opportunities a career in the RAF can provide.
