Larport Energy Storage Project

Athena PTS were responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of the contestable and private 66kV grid connection works and earthing design and installation for the entire site. This enabled the connection of the battery storage scheme to the grid.

Using our own skilled and experienced personnel along with selected contract partners, the project was delivered in line with the clients requirements.

Walney Wind Farm Extension

Walney Wind Farm Extension is located in the Irish Sea and is the world’s largest operational offshore wind farm, generating 659MW of clean renewable energy.

Athena PTS were awarded the contract to maintain the Walney Extension OFTO Offshore Substations. Using our own skilled and experienced personnel along with selected contract partners, the Asset Maintenance Project was delivered in line with the client's requirements.

Turweston 132 kV Cable Diversion

The client required a full design report and drawings for the proposed underground cable diversion works of the over head line (OHL) circuit.

This included the development of the feasibility study, network design review and OHL tower earthing study.

This work was completed by the Consultancy team to the client's satisfaction with the information being used to move the project forward.

Burbo Bank Extension OFTO

Burbo Bank Extension is located in Liverpool Bay at the entrance to the River Mersey. The offshore wind farm produces 258MW of clean renewable energy.

Athena PTS were awarded the contract to provide operations and maintenance services for the Burbo Bank Extension OFTO assets (Offshore and Onshore Substations). This included the management of HV equipment on the 132kV offshore substation and the 400kV onshore substation.
