You'll cover the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) assets serving buildings of different types within the TfL infrastructure.
Lighting, Low voltage, Lightning protection, Domestic water, Gas, Heating, Air conditioning and Ventilation sub-assets.
On successful completion of this scheme, you could move into a Band 2 Engineer position in one of our E&M sub-teams.
From here, you could have the opportunity to continue developing into one of our resident technical discipline experts, an experienced Senior Project Engineer or even a Senior Manager.
The current Director of Engineering and the Major Projects Director for TfL both started their careers as technician apprentices. That demonstrates that our apprentices can aspire to senior management positions or anything else in between.
The qualification you will earn is accredited by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
How long: Approximately 5.5 years
Where: London based hybrid working. Anticipated 1 to 2 days on average in the office- subject to working patterns and business requirements.
