Where we’re defining the future of movement, you’ll also find the future of Finance. That’s because to drive the next-generation of luxury, sustainable vehicles, we have to make sure the numbers add up: for our customers and the planet.
Our Finance teams work at the heart of our business to inform every part of it. That makes for opportunities to build a diverse range of skills across a fascinating range of challenges. From day one you’ll get involved in real business tasks and projects, gaining the insight you need to understand our business, and the freedom you want to change it. Apprentices here are valued for their fresh perspective and ideas and are supported to think big, learn from expert colleagues and propel our business forward.
More than a scheme, your Finance Apprenticeship will see you actively working with and getting invaluable experience in Business Partnering; Management Information & Analytics; Global Financial Shared Services and Group Finance (including Treasury, Tax, Accounting & Compliance).
Taking responsibility for core tasks and supporting colleagues in teams across the business is the best way to get a solid grounding of the fundamentals – and accelerate your progress towards becoming a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). That’s as well as achieving the Accountancy or Taxation Professional Level 7 Apprenticeship (including CIMA Accountancy up to the Strategic Level). There may also be the opportunity to study for a Master’s in Accounting and Finance based on individual performance and business need.
Through every step, you’ll be guided and supported by colleagues, experts and mentors: we work as one team to think big, share experience, learn from each other and drive success.
To be eligible for our Finance degree apprenticeship programme you will need to demonstrate a passion for finance and strong motivation for the role. You will also need to meet our academic entry criteria:
As well as working in key teams within the Finance function at Jaguar Land Rover, you will study for your CIMA qualification over the four year programme. It will be a blended approach of face-to-face and virtual lessons studying a number of modules including Strategic Management, Risk Management, Financial Strategy, Managing performance, Advanced Management Accounting, Advanced Financial Reporting, Managing Finance in a Digital World, Management Accounting and Financial Reporting.
You will receive support throughout your time on the programme from the Apprenticeship Delivery team, university staff support, management and functional support.
We've signed the Gradcracker feedback pledge.
