Creating the cars of tomorrow is a challenge around 40,000 passionate Jaguar Land Rover colleagues take on every day. The way cars are created and driven is changing. And we are leading that change. Our vision is for a cleaner, smarter, more connected world where autonomous, connected, electrified and shared vehicles will replace the environmentally impactful world of the internal combustion engine. Throughout our history we have always taken on the challenges of creating the most prestigious, sustainable and desirable cars.

Jaguar Land Rover Undergraduate & Graduate Careers

Wherever you join us, you’ll find yourself working at the cutting-edge – utilising the very latest technological revolutions in some of the most advanced facilities in the industry.

What to expect

Getting the right parts, to the right place, at the right time, for the right cost: that’s the challenge for Supply Chain and Logistics.

We have fantastic opportunities for undergraduates to join one of our Global Material Planning and Logistics teams or Global Parts Supply Chain team. You will work with a global network of over 1,000 suppliers and our worldwide manufacturing and sales footprint, to ensure we continuously plan and execute the most effective and efficient supply chains in the industry. You’ll manage everything from ensuring the parts we need are available and the right quality; to optimising the journey they take to our factories and showrooms.

In our fast-paced environment, you’ll use your logic to make a significant contribution to our continued success, as you ensure our worldwide customer-base receives the premium experience they expect. Working alongside a team as ambitious as you, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to develop your professional skills and supplement your academic studies.

What you'll need

Excellence runs throughout our entire business and we expect you to be the same. We’re looking for undergraduates who are on track to attain a minimum of a 2:2 degree classification in a relevant discipline: Engineering, Mathematics or Project Management.

Driven, determined to learn and with impressive commercial awareness − you’ll have no doubts that our Supply Chain and Logistics undergraduate scheme is the next challenge for you. Your innovation and creativity will be challenged every day, as you develop a rigorous and commercially focused approach to your work.

Whatever your role, you’ll discover our dedication to developing excellence runs throughout the business. And, with ongoing support from industry-leading experts, you’ll quickly realise the schemes have been designed to be just as inspiring as the pioneering vehicles you’ll help produce.

Please be aware that our undergraduate placement opportunities are only open to penultimate year students (i.e. students who will be returning to their final year of study following their placement with us); or returning to university to study a Masters.

All our undergraduate programmes have a fixed start date commencing June 22nd 2020 and will run for a duration of 12 months.

Rewards and benefits

Your innovation and creativity will be challenged every day, as you develop a rigorous and commercially focused approach in your work. And, with on-going support from industry leading experts and continual learning opportunities, you’ll quickly realise that our programmes have been designed to be as inspiring as the pioneering vehicles you’ll help produce.

Whichever part of the business you join your hard work and contribution deserves recognition. You’ll receive a competitive salary of around £326 per week, or £17,000 per annum. For those on placements of longer than 3 months there is a generous holiday allowance. There are a range of other benefits and regular social events so plenty of chances to make friends and have fun too.
