Your Role and Contribution in the Nuclear Business Unit

Joining our Nuclear Business Unit, you’ll be part of projects that advance the UK’s nuclear infrastructure. Whether supporting the design and construction of new facilities or enhancing existing ones, your work will contribute to a safer, more sustainable nuclear industry. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining invaluable skills in precision-driven, high-stakes environments where safety, efficiency, and innovation come first.

Your journey starts on the front lines of major nuclear projects, working directly with experienced professionals to apply your knowledge and build critical skills. You’ll go beyond observing to take an active role, learning first-hand as you contribute to projects focused on safe, efficient, and innovative nuclear solutions. This hands-on experience will give you the tools and insights to thrive in an industry where precision and responsibility are paramount.

What we are looking for

Candidates who:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Essential Criteria

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (ICE-accredited).
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK, including remote locations. This role is based in Cumbria.

Desirable Criteria

  • Ideally, some prior exposure to construction or engineering environments.
