Products are principally related to the rotational machinery market and include mechanical seals, seal systems, couplings and filtration technologies. This role will be predominantly based in the Product Line Engineering department in Slough, United Kingdom.

This John Crane apprenticeship provides the perfect opportunity to join a high-performing global engineering team, learning great career skills from a global engineering market leader along the way. In partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, you have the opportunity to gain a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (BEng).
The candidate will attend university on day release, with block release weeks at the start and end of each University term. The successful candidate will learn about the design, engineering, manufacture, assembly and testing of John Crane products.
This will involve the use of 3D CAD to design components, using analytical tool such as FEA and CFD, collaborating with other departments on projects ranging from manufacturing, commercial and the operation/design of test rigs just to name a few.
