Application Process

  1. After submitting your basic details, you will be asked to complete the application which will consist of a
    • CV, full details of your Degree including modules covered and how they are relevant to this development scheme, other qualifications and previous experience and skills if any
    • A personal statement based on the essential criteria in the job advert, explaining against the criteria, how you consider your qualifications, personal skills, qualities make you suitable for this role.
    • Your preferred pathway and job location, MOD Corsham, MOD Abbeywood Bristol or MOD London.
  2. A panel will sift your application.
  3. The top scoring candidates at sift will be invited to an assessment centre at MOD Corsham where you’ll be assessed on group activities and individual exercise. You will have an interview on the same day where you will be asked to give a presentation, we will notify you of the presentation subject a week before your interview, before moving onto hypothetical questions on the Civil Service Behaviours listed in the job advert along with strengths-based questioning.
  4. Successful candidates will be offered a place on the scheme. We also operate a Reserve List where we may offer suitable applicants future vacancies within the profession that require similar skills
