Client Services Executive - Adelphi Communications

My role

Working at Adelphi is a collaboration of science and education. By working with pharma companies, I help ensure that cutting-edge research is delivered with the right impact, at the right time. I’ve been involved in managing a range of publication work (such as manuscripts and abstracts), medical communication materials, and digital projects in integrated account teams. This role has given me a great opportunity to develop my communication, financial and time management skills.

The role 

If you are super-organised, proactive and would enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then Client Services Executive could be the role for you. This position is highly suited to strong communicators as it involves lots of direct engagement with clients, suppliers, and team members to keep projects on track. You also need sound financial acumen and attention to detail to address client needs and ensure the smooth, successful delivery of projects.

Best bits

I really enjoy participating in brainstorming sessions with the entire team. During these sessions we bounce ideas off each other to elevate the client brief and think of creative concepts and innovative solutions to address client needs. I’m currently a part of the ‘party team’ and the ‘social media team’ which has introduced me to new friends across the company!

Day to day

  • Look after projects from set-up to completion
  • Monitor project deadlines and update timelines
  • Master our financial systems (no prior experience required)
  • Track finances and work with team to ensure projects are within budget
  • Attend status meetings and capture actions and minutes
  • Keep status sheets, project management and financial trackers, and other project-related documents up to date
  • Liaise with third party suppliers including designers and printers
  • Solve problems
  • Attend graduate academy sessions with participants from across the Adelphi group!
  • Develop an understanding of the pharma industry and medical communications agency environment
  • Visit our onsite gym
  • Have lunch in our modern social space!
