At our UK( Hungerford) site we design and manufacturer market leading, COX, MK and Mixpac brands of hand-held sealant and dispensers including manual, pneumatic and cordless tools.

Our 13 production sites worldwide together with our highly motivated and experienced team of around 2,100 provide our customers with uncompromising quality, proximity and agility. medmix is headquartered in Baar, Switzerland.

We aim to expose out interns to these projects in the best way to help develop their ability and create a challenging but rewarding experience.

Alongside engineering, medmix UK runs a full manufacturing facility in house so the placement will afford the intern the ability to witness and work with other roles to gain experience of the full product lifecycle.

Job Description

To support in delivery of commercial excellence and transformation within, but not limited to Sales, Product Management & Customer Experience teams for the world’s leading hand-held mixing and dispensing systems for adhesives and sealants.

In this role you will have responsibility and accountability to deliver meaningful and sustainable improvements to our commercial processes from product management and marketing through to lead generation, nurturing and customer experience.

You will work alongside a talented, supportive team of engineers and designers that are passionate about innovation and contribute to cutting-edge projects that benefit our customers and the world.

Main duties & responsibilities:

Design and Technology

  • Support the optimisation and development of our Customer Relationship Management tool (salesforce) to help our sales teams globally to extend our pipeline of opportunities.
  • Map as-is commercial processes with functional experts and lead change with multi-functional stakeholders to reduce waste effort and time in the process.
  • Co-own turnaround-time on customer issue resolution to make it easier to do business with medmix and eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Support Marketing and Product Manage Teams to gather market intelligence and produce sales collateral.

Qualifications

  • A proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work individually and as part of a cross functional team.
  • Actively working towards a Business, Marketing or Engineering degree with a genuine desire of a commercial career path..
  • A process mindset, with a passion to explore new ideas and methods in pursuit of developing new solutions to problems.
  • Ability to write procedures and process maps.
  • Good verbal communication skills; experience presenting complex subject matter to non-expert audiences desirable
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience of CRM, e.g. Salesforce.com and digital marketing tools is an advantage.
