What you will be doing

You will be working with a strong team of highly knowledgeable consultants giving you the opportunity to develop your skill set and progress your career. You’ll be trained in providing support and assistance across a range of projects and technical areas. You will provide consultancy advice to our clients, contributing towards the success of the team through the effective delivery of project and ensuring development of key client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Data capture and digitisation.
  • Mapping and Spatial Analysis support to other sectors (e.g. Environment, Planning, Transport, Water, Utilities, Structures.
  • Develop and maintain GIS data resources for public access.
  • Assist with data collection with GPS.
  • Ensure data accuracy QA/QC.
  • Record and document details of map updates, additions or deletions.
  • Desk-based recording of features and controls using digital mapping, remote sensing and GIS techniques

Who we are looking for:

To be considered for our graduate programme you will need to be on course for achieving the following: 

  • Degree in GIS, Earth Science, Environmental Science or Engineering (or related/relevant discipline).
  • A relevant post-graduate degree (GIS/GeoScience/GeoInformatics/Remote Sensing) will be considered an advantage

Key Requirements include:

  • Experience in ESRI products (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, etc.)
  • Excellent data analysis skills with competency in Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work with teams and on own initiative.

As part of the assessment centre, you will have an Interview. This will be an opportunity to meet the team who you could be working with.
