Arriva is one of the largest providers of passenger transport in Europe, employing around 55,000 people and delivering more than 2.2 billion passenger journeys across 14 European countries each year. Arriva is part of Deutsche Bahn (DB) and is responsible for DB's regional passenger transport services outside Germany.
Arriva was established in Sweden in 1999 and today we have more than 3000 employees. Our headquarters is located at Liljeholmen in Stockholm. Each year we help more than 170 million passengers to reach their destinations. We focus on customer service and safety to ensure more people use public transport. We would like you to join us on our journey!
The Arriva Graduate Programme is an 18 month programme developed in order to attract and develop young talent.
During the programme, you will work within different business areas. Most likely, one of these assignments will be located in one of the other 13 European countries that Arriva operates in. You will attend a set of graduate events and training modules where you will gain knowledge about Arriva’s operations, strategy and business model and where you will meet Arriva’s senior managers and Graduates from other countries. In addition to your main assignments, you will be working on an international project together with other Arriva Graduates. You will be supported by a mentor throughout the programme and become part of an international Graduate network.
After the Graduate Programme we will continue to support your development and our expectation is to offer you a prominent position within the business after you graduate. Good performance will expose the great growth opportunities that Arriva can offer you.
We are looking for a Graduate to join our Bid Team. The Bid Team are exploring Arriva’s growth opportunities within public tenders covering both rail and bus services. Tender projects require a vast knowledge of the business. The programme will therefore offer assignments such as, business controlling and various operational tasks. The type of projects, tasks and responsibilities that you will take on during the programme are in the range of tender projects, market analysis, passenger growth analysis, and creating a cohesive approach to “best practice” within the Arriva Group which later can be implemented in the Swedish organisation. After successfully completing the Graduate Programme, you may expect a job that fits your experience and capabilities.
