Babcock is delighted to have won the Best Graduate Recruitment Strategy at the Recruiter Awards for our ‘What Makes You’ campaign.
The campaign focused on personal and engaging stories about our people, guiding principles and projects. The 'What Makes You' concept has been crucial to the success of Babcock's graduate recruitment. It has built employer brand equity, seeing Babcock rise in the ranks of the Guardian UK 300 from 155 to 134.
We were up against some serious contenders with the likes of Morgan Stanley and Network Rail – so we're thrilled to have stood out amongst such fierce competitors.
The Judges commented: "This was a compelling proposition that sent a powerful message. It succeeded in demystifying the engineering sector… by breaking through stereotypes associated with engineering."
