Mission Systems 

The Junior Integration Engineer role is based within our Mission Systems business area.

Babcock is a trusted provider of integrated solutions for global defence and security. We have a wide portfolio of best-in-class intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance solutions, communications, and weapons launch and handling solutions across all domains, integrating the best of industry to meet our customers’ needs.

The role

You’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for integrating RF networking systems for our military customers and have the opportunity to work in various Defence market areas, such as: Land, Air and Sea. 

Day to day, you’ll…

• Undertake the specification, design, implementation, test and integration in line with required standards.
• Extracting customer requirements, and in the absence of clearly defined specifications be able to understand the customer's underlying goals in order propose requirements.
• Manual handling will be required at test and demonstration sites.
• Develop web applications for desktop and mobile devices
• Use various programming languages such as Python, C++ or C#
