We help customers in the UK and around the world to improve the capability, reliability and availability of their most critical assets within the four market sectors of Marine, Land, Aviation, and Nuclear, underpinned by a deep understanding of technology integration, unique infrastructure, and specialist training.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Marine sector, our 1,300-strong business based out of Clyde designs, integrates and supports some of the most complex systems. As the Ministry of Defence’s commercial partner at HMNB Clyde, we deliver vital in-service engineering support.

What you’ll get out of it

A summer placement will give you the opportunity to put theory into practice and gain vital work experience and understanding of operations at Clyde. You can expect to receive an overview of all aspects of engineering, including design and safety, fleet planning and fleet production. You will have opportunities to work on projects in business operations, maintenance planning, safety cases and business improvements.

What you’ll need

  • Studying a relevant a degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Project Management, preferably accredited, in Year 3 or above of your studies
  • To be able to satisfy the MoD’s security requirements (you may need to complete a medical assessment)
