Our Gallagher Futures programme provides a 2 year, tailored development plan, with the aim of accelerating your career in the insurance industry. You'll be mentored, have access to superb coaching and work towards achieving a professional qualification.

During the programme you will have the opportunity to be hands on, working closely with your mentor and making a difference early.

As part of our IT team you’ll gain exposure to the four pillars of our IT teams including infrastructure, projects, data and applications. There will be a focus on you building both technical and non-technical skills with the view to specialise in one area at the end of the programme.

Your Role:

  • You'll get the chance to interact as first line support, dealing with queries and helping to resolve issues
  • Evaluate orders speaking with the suppliers on a daily basis; building strong and effective working relationships
  • Support the delivery of IT projects 
  • You'll get an rotation into infrastructure, data and applications. Giving you a broad overview with the chance to specialise later in the programme

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • A STEM degree
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with Grade A to C (4-9) in English and Maths.
  • Strong communication skills and the competitive drive to achieve. Determined, keen to make a difference and forge a career whilst improving the service of key clients.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills are crucial when engaging with insurers and customers alike.
  • Accurate with high attention to detail, thriving on outstanding customer centricity.
  • Proficient in MS office.
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Rewards

Our Gallagher Futures programme offers a salary of between £29,000 and £33,000p.a. dependent on location and experience. You’ll also receive 25' days annual leave, plus UK bank holidays, and be able to purchase additional days.

Alongside this, you will also be entitled to three fully paid volunteering days a year, allowing you to support a charity of your choice. There are also a range of flexible benefits available to you including gym memberships, season ticket loans, travel insurance and many more.
