We offer a four-year programme within our Customer Support and Services (CSS) Department, studying for a Product Design Electrical BSc at Hatfield University.

It is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an accredited engineering scheme that has developed some of the leading engineering apprentices in the UK, whilst working in a truly fascinating and ‘one of a kind’ function.

Within this department you will see work right the way from concept phase through to disposal of a product - you’ll even have opportunity to influence the design of what we produce to ensure it is supportable through its life!

Our Customers are incredibly important to us and you will be on hand to ensure that their requirements are met and the reputation of MBDA continues to prosper.

Our CSS team assists our Customers through Training, supplying technical publications and working on spares and maintenance as well as providing technical assistance where required. You’ll get to attend meetings with the MoD and the Armed forces so you’ll experience how important we are to assisting the end user of our products.

You’ll study for a Product Design (Electrical) BSc (Hons) at University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield for one day a week and the remainder of your working week will be putting in to practice everything you’re learning in a real life environment. Throughout the programme MBDA also provides opportunities to build on your skills by providing a series of courses focusing on key skills such as team building and presentational skills.

By the end of the 4 year CSS Degree Apprenticeship you will become a well-rounded Supportability Engineer equipped with the skills and knowledge, allowing you to be ready to take on your next role within the Company!
