The Integration & System Validation (ISV) department plays a critical role in the development and proving of MBDA’s new and existing products. ISV engineers work on a variety of tasks such as; aircraft, naval and land integration activities, weapon system integration and trials support and conduct.

What will you be doing?
Work with all aspects of the project to ensure trial delivery, including mechanical & electrical engineering, test equipment and trials conduct.
Your placements could be in:
Weapon systems integration testing of sub-system and system level functionality,
Functional proving of system response and performance,
Integration of missiles and weapon systems onto delivery platforms,
Trials planning and support to trials clearance documentation,
Conduct of sub-system and system trials at various levels of maturity,
Conduct of Firing trials and system level acceptance support.
Experience working in several roles across the department that will utilise both engineering and team work skills to help deliver integration and proving solutions to a range of complex weapon systems.
Recent ISV Graduates have been involved with systems proving activities on MBDA’s CAAM/FLAADS, ASRAAM, Brimstone and Storm Shadow and this has included working with platforms such as the F-35 Lightning II, Eurofighter Typhoon, Type 26 Frigates and the AH-64 Apache.
The role will suit someone who is keen for travel; there will be some essential travel when conducting trials activities. Depending on the projects it may be within the UK or Internationally.

Who and what we are looking for from you?
Degree qualified by Sept 2020 in Maths, Physics, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering or a related Engineering subject to a minimum 2:2
Enjoy problem solving and have a common-sense approach.
Ability to vary your communication style dependant on your audience.
Good Presentation Skills.
Ability to communicate clearly through written English,

Starting Salary of £26,500 with two pay reviews per year during the first 2 years,
