At Rolls-Royce, we’ve been a force for progress for over 100 years. And it’s what’s fuelling our next chapter as we power, protect, and connect people everywhere. As a Commercial Degree Apprentice, you’ll not only be immersed in the commercial side of our global company but play your own part in its success.
Join us and you’ll be shaping the future, surrounded by brilliant individuals who’ll help to inspire, challenge, and support you to be yourself and at your best. Add to that the fact you’ll study for a degree in Business and Management as you gain real-world experience, it’s a perfect way to kickstart your career and get a great qualification, debt free.
Over four years, you'll complete a series of placements with our commercial teams in Civil Aerospace in Derby. You'll also study for a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Management at University of Derby with costs and study time paid for by us. We'll support you every step of the way, with structured placements and learning and development objectives plus mentoring and sponsorship from experienced professionals.
At the end of the programme, you'll be ready to become a Commercial Officer with Rolls-Royce.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your commercial skills on real projects. You’ll be involved in diverse business issues as you support commercial teams in identifying risks and developing commercial proposals and business solutions.
You can expect to put in place and manage new business contracts as well as analysing business cases. Across it all, you’ll gain a detailed insight into how a large, complex company makes a profit and works with its customers, suppliers, and partners. You’ll also work with the teams who strive for continuous improvement in the way things are done.
If you have equivalent qualifications, please contact us.
You’ll also need a passion for all things business, including an interest in contract management, as well as a good financial acumen. Problem-solving skills are a must and you’ll be a natural when it comes to communicating with others and working as part of a team.
Our behaviours drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. We’ll expect that of you, too.
