Welcome to the AAPS Centre for Doctoral Training Hub

The AAPS CDT is jointly funded by EPSRC and the University of Bath. The CDT is part of the Institute of Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems (IAAPS).

It is a 3.5 year transdisciplinary research programme, giving students comprehensive training and detailed knowledge in their chosen subject area alongside colleagues working across a broad spectrum of challenges facing the industry.

All our students undertake an original piece of research in a specific discipline related to Sustainable Propulsion Systems whilst expanding their expertise through our core training programme and mentoring activities.

We recruit from all STEM disciplines.
