Our London Office is located at ground floor with direct access to the Wenlock Basin, providing an enjoyable working environment convenient to Old Street and Angel stations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Sustainable project development
Mechanical design
Electrical design
Public Health design
Environmental energy modelling (using TAS and IES energy modelling software)
2D and 3D drawing, including Revit and CAD drawing production and including innovative products such as MagiCAD.
You will have day to day contact with a senior line manager who will:
meet regularly to discuss your personal and professional development and training needs and support you in your progress towards Chartership.
accompany you to site and design team meetings an early stage to introduce you to the wider context of design.
help make sure you can have a personal impact on the projects you are working on.
Your day to day responsibilities will be:
carrying out the sustainable design of mechanical, electrical, and public health installations
carrying out thermal modelling for comfort, energy consumption, in use and embodied carbon calculations and ensuring great daylighting.
drawing production in REVIT and CAD
report writing
site and design team attendance
contributing to in house technical discussions.
managing a graduate engineer
main point of contact on projects with support from a Director/Associate
Qualifications and skills
You should demonstrate a strong educational background in mathematics, analytical thinking, and design.
You should bring a strong set of competencies that will be fostered as part of your professional development and represent our values and commitments as individual engineers.
As a practice we believe our engineers should demonstrate great consideration, collaboration, integrity, diligence, and proactivity.
