If this sounds like something that appeals to you then look no further than Peter Brett Associates, now part of Stantec (PBA). We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join our Civil Engineering team in Blisworth, just outside Northampton.
Our Northampton office includes Civil Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Transport Planners, Environmental Scientists/Planners and Utilities Engineers with an overall team of 45 staff. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a passionate team of professionals who are involved in a wide variety of exciting development infrastructure projects both locally and nationally.
As part of the graduate programme at PBA, your daily work will provide a large part of your learning and development with personalised technical training sessions being provided to further your knowledge. As part of our graduate programme, you will also commence your fully supported pathway to professional accreditation with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
The programme will also offer you the opportunity of being part of a large, nationwide graduate community where you will get the opportunity to join our graduate forum, network and socialise with your fellow graduates.
On a day to day basis, you will support the production of infrastructure designs including highways, drainage, flood risk management, utilities and public realm. You will also be involved in the generation of 3D computer models to visualise and coordinate your team’s designs.
You will have a keen interest in a Civil Engineering and Infrastructure, demonstrated through your studies and extra-curricular activities. You’ll have plenty of positive energy, a desire to learn and a passion for Civil Engineering.
You’ll be undertaking an MEng or BEng degree in civil engineering, working to achieve a minimum 2:1 classification, and preferably have undertaken relevant work experience or placements. And finally, you must be eligible to work in the UK at the time you start employment.
