The Opportunity

Start your journey. Define your future.

Want to join a graduate programme where you will work on technically challenging projects?  Do you want to join a fun and collaborative graduate community where you will be mentored by some of the industry’s leading players who will guide you towards your chartership?

That opportunity now exists within our Building Services group in Reading.  Our Integrated engineering and M&E consulting services include mechanical and public health service design, environmental modelling, building systems performance analysis, lighting and day-lighting design, and environmental master planning. These services are offered across a wide range of development types from large urban regeneration projects in London to exciting and diverse international projects including healthcare and hotels.

Stantec offers the opportunity to work and collaborate on jobs on a global scale whilst utilising the latest BIM technology to develop designs from an initial concept through to project completion.

As a Graduate building services engineer you will help provide clients with efficient, effective and economical MEP designs. You will help create a comfortable environment by designing the mechanical components of necessities such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and domestic water services whilst retaining a focus on the sustainability and environmental impact of each design. You will have access to the latest environmental modelling software (IES), be exposed to BIM modelling, collaboration and co-ordination and gain detailed knowledge of building regulations.

The Stantec Promise

More than our services, we are defined by what we stand for, what we believe, and why we do what we do. Our promise is to design with community in mind. Watch our staff explain why community matters so much to them.
