An opportunity to take on a graduate role within our Secure Infrastructure Edinburgh Schools Account is now available. The role is varied and will allow the opportunity to work alongside the operations managers ensuring all matters relating to compliance, quality, health & safety and achieved while getting a better understand of the technical statutory and mandatory delivery, energy, and project requirements of the Facilities Management Industry.

Our 2-year Graduate programme at Amey will challenge and inspire you to reach your full potential and build your career with a guaranteed permanent position for you to transition into once you have finished. Throughout your Graduate programme, you will receive first-class mentoring and a structured learning and development programme to enable your professional and personal development. We’ll also support and pay towards a relevant professional qualification.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to Operations Managers that help them perform their duties quickly and accurately
  • Attending client meetings & preparing monthly customer satisfaction reports.
  • Assisting in the operational delivery following technical action plans such as Fire Risk Assessments.
  • Carry out monthly compliance audits both technical & cleaning
  • Assist operations manager with the delivery of planned & reactive works throughout the estate
  • Assist project managers to develop scope of works and price small project works or client change requests
  • Assist Catering Manager in preparation of menus and catering service

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in Business Management or Engineering Discipline
  • A driving licence would be desirable
  • Available to join the programme in September 2023
  • Positive ‘can‐do' attitude
  • Effective team player
  • Excellent communication skills – Written and oral
  • High level of motivation and initiative; self-starter
