About the position
Crane ChemPharma Flow Solutions is a division within the Fluid Handling Business Segment of Crane Co, a US multi-national which specialises in highly engineered products in niche markets. Crane ChemPharma designs, manufactures, markets and distributes a range of process valves and actuators under the Saunders, Xomox, Revo and Resistoflex brand names for a wide range of applications in a number of industries including the chemical and biopharmaceutical industries.
Some of your responsibilities will include…
Liaising with customers, distributors and subsidiaries to fulfil customer requirements.
Initiating and planning technical review meetings.
Implementing changes to orders.
Supplying information to customers concerning pricing, delivery, technical inquiries and shipment details.
Providing order status information to all customers, including:
Proactively advising customers of re-schedules or delays affecting the promised ship date.
Investigating alternative sources for supply of material, offering alternate solutions to meet a customer's delivery expectations.
Generating quotes, consulting with Sales and Product Line Managers.
Participating in the OpEx and Quality processes including project team involvement and problem solving.
About you
You should have:
A degree in Business Management (or similar) or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
Proficient PC skills.
Excellent interpersonal/telephone skills.
