Google DeepMind Research Ready Programme

Computer Science.

Take part in a paid, eight-week summer internship at the University of York and learn about the design, verification and assurance of intelligent robots.

UK (Home) undergraduate applications are now open for the Google DeepMind Research Ready Programme, in partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineering and The HG Foundation.

The Google DeepMind Research Ready Programme provides individuals from underrepresented groups with research experience in robotics and AI. We are looking for talented students from across the UK to work on projects with our world-class researchers.

Our exciting programme is jointly created by two world leading research centres here at York: RoboStar, a centre of excellence on software engineering for robotics, and the Centre for Assuring Autonomy, which is dedicated to pioneering research and innovation in AI and safety.

We’re offering a generous stipend, assistance with travel expenses and FREE on-campus accommodation for the duration of the internship (conditions apply).
