Overview of the Role

The Leadership Development Programme is designed to be a highly visible experience. Through a hands-on approach, you will learn various parts of our business and gain technical knowledge of our converting operations. LDP is a 24-month leadership programme designed to develop operational, business, and leadership skills. The programme provides fast-track industry experience through structured learning and a hands-on approach.

Graphic Packaging interns are assigned a mentor and have opportunities to network with other colleagues and team members in the organisation. During your time in the programme, you will lead individual and team projects and have an opportunity to make in-person presentations.

Required Skills

  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Recently graduated from university.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Eager to continuously learn and develop.
  • Needs to be a self-starter, be self-directed, take initiative to move forward with ideas, be committed and be able to work with and influence others.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • A collaborative style. Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Must learn quickly to analyse data.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.

Development Skills What We Want to See in the Candidates:

  • Identify your strengths and weaknesses. Understanding your leadership strengths and learning opportunities.
  • Understand leadership styles. Knowing your leadership style can help you identify your preferred style and what is needed per situation.
  • Target specific skills. After you identify your areas of strength and weakness, you can create your development plan.
  • Expand your network. Observation is a powerful tool for developing leadership skills.

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, Food Science or Food Chemistry.
