A: The job title of the role you are applying for, if you are willing to relocate, your reasoning for applying for the job and any transferrable skills you have which you feel would benefit you in the role. We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals, so it's great to see this in your cover letter!

Q: What happens once I have applied?

A: The Early Careers Lifecycle team will assess your application and feedback within 10 days via email or SMS.

Q: What is the next stage if I am successful?

A: The interview stages will vary depending on the type of role you are applying for...

Online testing - this will be for candidates applying for technical roles within our Engineering & Operations functions. The test is short, sweet and nothing to worry about!

Video Interview - This is a great interview technique as it gives you as a candidate the opportunity to let your personality and enthusiasm shine through to the assessor!

Assessment Centre - QinetiQ is currently undergoing a very exciting time within the Early Careers Team, and we want to make sure our assessment centres stand out to you! This gives us as an employer the opportunity to showcase our organisation and gives you a taster of 'a day in the life' at QinetiQ. You will come onsite and undergo an array of fun and social activities, and also get the chance to meet some of the Executive Committee!

Once these steps have been completed, QinetiQ promise to be in touch with you within the week to let you know if you are successful. We don't like to keep you waiting, and know that the best candidates don't stick around for long! The Early Careers team is so excited to meet with all of you potential candidates, and are open to any questions you may have around the interview process!
