Role Purpose:

As a member of the Business Services team,  you will undertake a range of support activities in order to effectively deliver high quality improvment services to our customers.

Key Acountabilities:

  • To support the delivery of a high quality business service working with minimal supervision and guidance within defined procedures.
  • To resolve standard queries and recognise when to escalate more complex issues to a senior member of the team.
  • To understand and deliver the correct communication style appropriate to all stakeholders and situations.
  • To identify and lead continuous improvement activities relevant to their role.
  • To support resilience across Business Services and learn new skills as identified by the Team Leader.
  • To develop professional/ technical competence through structured learning and/or through work assignments.

Key Capabilities/Knowledge:

  • Self-starter with great attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, ability to operate effectively and influentially
  • Strong team working ethic
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Influencing and benefits articulation.
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills in ITIL Service Management and Continuous Improvement
  • Creative thinker

Academic Qualifications & Experience:

  • To have attained or be predicted 3 x A-Level's at A2  (Grades BCC) minimum of 104 -112 UCAS Points (or equivalent) 
  • You must also have achieved GCSE A*-C (5-9) in Maths, English Language and 3 other subjects
  • Able to demonstrate a working understanding of Microsoft Office Applications

Additional Requirements:

  • Please be aware that many roles within QinetiQ will be subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors including your nationality, any previous nationalities you have held, and your place of birth may limit those roles you can perform for the organisation.
  • You must be prepared to go through the Government Vetting process
