We are looking for graduates wanting a career in cyber, secure communications and IT to join our team of over 150 experts carrying out engineering and research projects. You will develop the skills needed to contribute to the delivery of a wide range of programmes for military, government and commercial customers to support the protection of national critical infrastructure.
Duties & Responsibilities
You could be responsible for:
Designing and deploying a communications system on a naval submarine
Building an IT infrastructure to support RAF pilot simulated training facility
Providing protected networks to ensure the secure delivery of intelligence and other sensitive information
Working to reduce the cyber risk in future technologies such as cloud computing and the Internet of Things
Identifying new technologies and research to design the UK’s deployable communications systems
Developing RF propagation models to test the boundaries of 5G communications
Designing next generation crypto systems for Government Agencies
Identifying cyber security vulnerabilities in complex government and private sector systems to support senior decision makers.
Joining QinetiQ you would:

To apply for the role you MUST meet the following criteria:
Have attained, or are about to attain a minimum of a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics or other science subject
Be willing to learn, and have demonstrated an aptitude for learning at pace
Have a keen interest in technology and engineering
Hold full British Citizenship.
