About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bill of Material (BOM) Controller on a permanent basis. This role is well-suited for recent graduates looking to start a career in the Manufacturing industry. However, if you have a solid understanding of change management processes, experience using SAP, and the ability to support cross-functional teams by providing accurate and timely BOM analysis please also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update material BOMs in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Action approved Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and implement changes within BOMs
Manage and monitor multiple product variants, ensuring proper structuring and classification
Compare and analyse BOMs across variants to identify commonality and uniqueness
Assess and document the complexity introduced by new or updated product variants
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and change management teams to provide BOM insights
Assist in the creation and validation of accurate change tickets through BOM analysis
Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance BOM structure and process efficiency.
Qualifications:
Entry level role suitable for a Graduate in a related field (Engineering, or Computer Science)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and variant complexities in a fast-paced environment
Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with strong collaboration skills.
