Industrial Placement Metrologist

What you’ll be doing:

As an Undergraduate on a 12 months placement, you will gain wide-ranging experience helping design, build and maintain bespoke measurement instrumentation to support the build, testing and commissioning of current, new and future classes of nuclear submarine (Astute, Dreadnought and SSNA [the replacement for the Astute class of submarine]).

Entry requirements?

You’ll need to be on track to receive a minimum 2:2 Bachelor’s degree in any STEM subject.

What is the application process?

The stages of our application process include: a short online application. If you’re successful, you'll then complete an online assessment with interactive activities, and an on-demand video interview. The next stage is competency-based interview, either virtual or face-to-face.
