Our science and sustainable technologies have a global impact in areas such as low emission transport, chemical processing, cleaner energy resources, catalyst capability and enabling the circularity of critical materials.

We have a number of exciting opportunities to join the Commercial stream of our Graduate Programme in the UK. The Programme will help you fulfil your ambition for rapid professional progression and future leadership roles.  As a Commercial Graduate you will experience an early career that’s customer focused, challenging and fast paced. You will have the opportunity to experience different commercial areas and industry sectors, helping to drive innovation and growth. Developing highly transferable skills as you go, you could find yourself involved in business development, product management, sales, market research or in driving commercial excellence across the organisation.

Our programme consists of three 8-month rotations in different locations within the UK and across business sectors. Each placement will be carefully planned to develop your skills and understanding of the various sectors in our company in line with your individual aspirations. The programme is robust and challenging, but we believe strongly in mentoring and coaching partnerships and you will receive plenty of support and expert career advice along the way. You will also participate in substantive training and development opportunities to assist you in building the critical skills needed as future leaders in the workplace.

Our strength lies in diversity – of our people, our business and the opportunities we offer.  No two career paths are the same; as part of this programme, you’ll forge a journey with JM that reflects your strengths, interests and passion. And we’ll support you every step of the way.

We'll challenge you - but you'll be well rewarded. We offer a highly competitive salary and bonus structure coupled with market leading benefits.

Requirements for the role:

  • A degree in Engineering or Science related field
  • Minimum 2.1 required, coupled with a strong academic track record
  • Mobile and willing to relocate within the UK to facilitate placement rotations over a two year period.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills essential; must be adaptable, strive for excellence and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
  • Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential

How you will be rewarded:

We offer a competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 25 days annual leave (varies for shift based roles). Our JM Elements Benefits programme helps our employees understand and manage the JM benefits, as well as helping you focus on your overall wellbeing – for you and your family.

We use our inspiring science and technology to enhance lives. For those who are passionate about sustainable solutions and shaping our markets, we offer stretch and a wealth of diverse opportunities.

We've signed the Gradcracker feedback pledge.
