The role:

We are looking for a CI Lead to work who will plan, directs and monitors all production activities within assigned area(s) to maximise the use of business resources and meet established overall production KPIs, including volume, cost, safety and quality measures. You will determine manufacturing priorities based on established monthly/quarterly/half yearly production activities.

As the CI Lead, you will help drive our goals by:

  • To ensure that the safety and well-being of yourself and your colleagues throughout the business is always the priority
  • To support the business to deliver the identified systems on time and with expected benefits
  • Lead and facilitate improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
  • Delivering the agreed Manex savings budget for the site
  • Provide SME support to help Site Management team identify and execute improvement opportunities.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Relevant degree and/or experience in a manufacturing environment - Essential
  • Qualified and experienced Trainer - Essential
  • Understanding of project management and delivery techniques including budgetary control - Essential
  • Experience of deploying improvement projects and managing the process through to completion - Essential
  • Experience in building strategic working relationships, and working across departmental boundaries - Essential
