How GE Works...
At GE we put our ideas to work. We make things that matter, things that make life better. GE Works.
Edison is a one of a kind programme combining continued study with experience of the full engineering lifecycle. Exposing participants to all areas of a world leading global organisation, participants have the opportunity to see first-hand, how ideas come to life. Edisons benefit from GE’s global breadth by working alongside other Edisons and project teams across the world. The Edison Programme is a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself in an encouraging, harmonious environment, while gaining hands on experience of some of the most advanced engineering challenges in the world today.
The key elements of the programme include:
Three or more rotational assignments, which may involve Systems, Software or Hardware Engineering, within Avionics or Power Distribution engineering projects, motivated by real GE business priorities
Development of Engineering Competencies towards Professional Registraion (IEng and CEng)
Bespoke GE Leadership Training Courses: "Innovate" and "Activating Your Leadership Journey (ALJ)"
Development of problem-solving and time management skills through Technical Classes, Workshops, Formal Reports and Presentations
