About us

There is no better place to start your professional career than with a yearlong internship with GE UK. GE interns work together to solve real-world challenges, sometimes spurring innovations that change the way we do business. GE people are global, diverse and dedicated, operating with the highest integrity and passion to fulfil GE’s mission and deliver for our customers.

GE drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges: Energy, health, transportation—the essentials of modern life. By combining world-class engineering with software and analytics, GE helps the world work more efficiently, reliably, and safely. For more than 125 years, GE has invented the future of industry, and today it leads new paradigms in additive manufacturing, materials science, and data analytics.

GE is hiring pioneers, problem solvers, dreamers and leaders across the globe. Today, more than ever, the world needs great minds. What the world you.

Technology is how we do things. People are why we do things. GE imagines things others don't, builds things others can't and delivers outcomes that make the world work better. GE brings together the physical and digital worlds in ways no other company can. In its labs and factories and on the ground with customers, GE is inventing the next industrial era to move, power, build and cure the world.

You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects. We will support you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE experience. Your manager will offer coaching and mentoring, and the Company will provide the opportunity to connect with other interns across the UK.

If you are passionate about Project Management, we would like to hear from you.

We currently have internship opportunities in Bracknell (Berkshire), Cambridge (Cambridgeshire), Cardiff (Wales), Cheltenham (Gloucestershire), Gloucester (Gloucestershire), Hamble (Southampton), Manchester and Rugby (Warwickshire). The selection stages include online assessments, video interview and a final on-site interview. Should your skills or experience be suitable for other internship opportunities, we will also consider you for these without you needing to submit a further application.
