Thales, in partnership with Welsh Government and the University of South Wales, are developing a National Digital Exploitation Centre (NDEC). In recognition of forthcoming major infrastructure and Critical National Infrastructure programmes in Wales and a need to create and retain high value jobs in the region as well as stimulate sustainable growth in regional business; NDEC will be a custom-built facility in South Wales to meet this need.
To help support our development, we are seeking an Cyber Range Technician to work as part of a multi skilled team and be responsible for the operation of the Cyber Lab facilities within NDEC ensuring the environment and supporting cyber tools are specified, maintained and meet the demands placed by the varied range of cyber services to be delivered by the NDEC.
This position will challenge your skills and you will have the flexibility to mould the role to suit your strengths and career development interests ranging from Cyber Consultancy through to development of Secure Digital Solutions. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are motivated, committed and keen to learn. A self-starter who is able to manage their time, show initiative and has a genuine interest in digital technology.
